I found the case to be prefect. No bad smell at all. Exactly as advertised, not sure if the wake/sleep function works because I pack it with the apple case.

The item itself is exactly what I wanted. I am very pleased with that. Unfortunately I can’t use it right away, because of the terrible smell coming from the item. As I was opening the package it smelled like it had been sitting in a smokers home for years. I’m currently trying to let it air out but it doesn’t seem to be working.
